This project was a time of great challenge and growth. By leading both code implementation and report writing, I was able to gain a deeper understanding of algorithms and technologies. Applying theory to a real project helped narrow the gap between theory and practice.
I enhanced my problem-solving skills through coding challenges and improved project quality through collaboration with teammates. Writing the report was also a valuable opportunity to organize and reflect on the entire process. This experience will serve as a solid foundation for my future studies and research, giving me confidence to take on greater challenges.
This team project was a valuable experience that taught me many lessons. At first, I thought collaboration would make the project easy, but as we progressed, we faced various challenges.
Nevertheless, by leveraging and complementing each member’s strengths, we achieved far better outcomes than individual efforts. The combined contributions elevated the project’s quality and led to innovative results.
Previously, I only vaguely imagined how search engine algorithms might work. Through this project, I gained a clearer understanding of how algorithms are applied in real search engines.
I learned about the complexity of actual search systems and how various algorithms interact harmoniously. It was highly beneficial to confirm how theoretical concepts are practically implemented.
While working on this project, I applied what I learned in Discrete Structures and gained new insights through additional research. It was also a chance to review and reinforce what I had previously studied.
I regret that my limited abilities meant I couldn’t contribute more to the team. However, I learned a lot from this experience and will continue to improve. Report writing in particular helped me practice organizing and systematizing the entire project.
It was rewarding to research a topic I’ve always been interested in—search algorithms. Although it’s a familiar subject in daily life, I had never investigated the actual principles in depth before this project.
As a project topic, it gave me the chance to study search algorithm mechanisms and even implement a simple version myself. Designing the system also improved my ability to understand overall architecture.
Through this project, I was able to study in depth how search algorithms support daily life, learning their principles and different types.
Additionally, by combining each member’s research, we could share our findings and learn about unfamiliar fields from one another. This made it a highly meaningful and educational experience.
